WORKSHOP – Chair Nicolas Steinmetz — Gilles Julien en pédiatrie sociale en communauté
With respect to community social pediatrics, several service movements, based on collaborative approaches that support vulnerable children and teenagers, have grown over the past few years. One of these approaches is the Wraparound, which is comprised of integrated services and interventions for highly complex and traumatic cases. During the first part of this session, the key aspects of each approach will be presented and backed by concrete field examples from professionals who use it on a daily basis. The second part of the session will consist of a workshop that will explore how the key aspects of each approach can be applied to services offered to vulnerable children, particularly in community social pediatrics. At the end of the workshop, participants will benefit from feedback given by professional experts on the three service models.
